Win2K Server -- can't access network

Mark Hanson

After switching my server to Win2K Server from Win2k Pro (which worked
perfectly), that machine can no longer access the network. It has 2 NICs --
Linksys and VIA, with both sets of drivers properly installed -- and both
cards are properly finctioning at 100 Mbs...but no network. No intenet, no
LAN. It's a near-standard install, with only AppleTalk and Mac Services
being additions. Can anyone point me towards a solution? Thanks.

Well, the first thing you want to do is run ipconfig /all from the command
line to see if the NIC cards have the IP address you hope they do. If not,
you will need to check the TCP/IP properties for the NIC Cards.
