win2k pro and winxp pro license

Scott

Hi,
I hope someone can answer this question.
Since win2k pro and Win xp pro uses built-in license, am I supposed to see
those tokens in the
Admin tools -> Terminal Services Licensing ->
All Servers -> Server Name->
Windows 2000 Server - Terminal Services CAL token(Per Device)

I apologize for the ignorance, first time installed terminal server. I
already installed server and cal licenses but when I go into
Admin Tools-> Terminal Services Licensing, I don't see any tokens released
to the Clients. I use win2k pro and win xp pro.

Thanks,

If you have only W2K Pro and XP Pro clients, you should not need to
buy or install any TS CALs. You do need to install and activate a TS
Licensing server (which you have done, as it seems).

What you should see in the TS Licensing Manager is an entry called
"Existing Windows 2000 Server - Terminal Services CAL Token (per
device)", Type=Built-in, Available=Unlimited, Issued=the number of
clients that have connected.
