WIN2K network problem

Hi,

I have a strange problem.
My WIN@K server is not on teh network. When I type ping
localhost it says unable to connect ip driver error code
2.

further the output of ipconfig /all shows only teh node
name and DNS suffix and teh node type is shown as
broadcast and no other information.

Please help.

Have you tried dumping and reinstalling your network stack?

Thanks.

I removed the network card from the device manager and
then rebooted the system so that it would find it again.
However , I did not remove tcp/ip from my system , the
system wouldn't let me do that.
