Win2k fax config.

When sending a fax, I can hear a short burst of numbers then the number I
am sending. I suspect the short burst is disable call waiting which I do
not have. The line subsequently drops due to the foreign burst.
How can I disable this burst?

It sounds as though you have dialing rules enabled. Go to
Control Panel>Phone & Modem Options>Dialing Rules..click
on the default location and edit it. Make sure that
the "disable call waiting" box is unchecked.
