Virus Burst

I am being blackmailed by a programme called Virus Burst.
Every few minutes a balloon appears in the bottom right hand corner of my PC
stating that I have a serious virus.
On clicking the balloon I get through to a company trying to sell me Virus
Burst.
I have carried out several virus scans using several different programmes
including Norton.
Nothing now appears to be in the PC but still the balloon appears.
How can I stop it.

Your not rid of it yet, have you done your scans in safe mode ?, also
I recommend you use Sysclean

It's not a virus, so why would you expect an AV program to clean it? Google
is a good resource. I have included a link to a google search on remove
