Does anyone know how to set a distinctive ring on the xp
version of fax console? I've talked to the local phone
company about splitting the line so that 2 numbers will
terminate on one line (i.e. one for business phone, one
for business fax). The phone company said I need to
activate my fax to receive 2 short bursts as its
distinctive ring so that it knows when a fax is coming in
on that line. Unfortunatley, the phone company could not
provide the tech support on this issue, and thinks
possibly windows xp does not support this. Is this true?
