Win2k Clients takes too much time to login

Hi All,
I have a problem with the win2k domain setup.i have a
server(Win2k server with SP4)and a client (Win2k Proff
with SP4).When i tried to start the cleint computer,while
booting it takes around an hour to get a desktop.it hangs
at "Applying Settings...".If i unplug the network cable
it boots with in a min.i donno whats wroung with this.Can
any one help me to solve this problem.

Does the ipconfig/all from the client show that everything is pointing to
the server-IP?
