Win2K calendar boots to 2005

When I boot, the calendar says it is 2005, and the AVG antivirus gets all
upset. I go to Adjust Date/Time and reset to 2007, hit Apply and OK, and all
is well until the next boot.

This started yesterday and I updated all of the malware programs and ran
them, found the usual suspects, got rid of them, but it didn't help.

This upsets me, too. Can someone tell me how to reset the year and make it
stay?

Same problem with 2 computers that have come into the shop this past week.
The BIOS date is correct, Windows isn't. This is only affecting Win 2000 sp4
computers for me so far.

Is anyone else having this problem?? I've had a rash of calls in my shop in
the past week. (No less than 8). The symptoms have been consistent with all
of the call ins:

1. Date rolls back to 2005
2. Time rolls back 2 hours
3. Occurs on reboot.
4. Windows 2000 sp4
5. None of the call-ins used the TZedit utility for changing daylight
savings settings

This appears to coincide with a windows update last week.

Thanks for any input
