WIN2K Autologon failure

I have set WIN2K to logon automatically - fine. However,
when I log the PC off without reboot, the PC does not
Automatically log back on with automatic logon account
username. Instead I am offered the CTRL+ALT+DEL to log
on. This feature use to work with NT4. Can anyone
advise?

This may be to late for you, but having had the exact same requirement as you, I solved the problem by using a 3. party program from 12Ghosts.

Their little util called 12Ghosts Shutdown solved the problem for me entirely. Here's more info: http://www.12ghosts.com/ghosts/shutdown.htm
