Win2k audio plays too fast, help!

Windows 2000: Media Player 9, CD player, steaming web radio
all play too fast. It sounds like audio files are playing
maybe 30% faster than they should. Can anyone tell me how
to solve this problem?

Hmmm I seem to be having a very similar problem. Any
multimedia file I play seems to play at a faster than
normal rate. Video...audio... anything.

I wonder if this is a Media Player 9 issue... going to
revert to a previous version and see what happens.

My problem exist with an older version of MP, as well as
the cd player, and other third party players such as
Winamp.

I had the same problem, but I just downloaded updated
drivers from the manufacturer, and everything is working
fine now. Have you tried new drivers yet?
