Win2000 Task Mananger

I have Win2000, am signed in as admin and pulled up task
manager trying to stop some processes (I started with the
virus software)per instructions on new software. I got a
window that said it might have bad results, click ok or
cancel. Did that and got a window that saidit could be
completed, access denied. What's going on? Thanks

There are some system critical processes like LSASS that can't stopped. You
will get an access is denied error. It is normal.
