Hi,

My PC running win2000 hangs after I login. It seems that it is hanging on
netlogon. Task manager does not show any application running. I have
experienced this problem on the PC in my office many times before.
Everytime, the PC help people had to reimage the OS.

This time the PC in my home got the same problem after I installed virus
2002. I installed service pack 4 early this morning and it has most of the
microsoft updates.

Please help me.

Boot into local computer not domain as admin. You can also use F8 and try the Safe Mode.

Check that your DNS is up and running and configured on local pc. If this pc is member of a domain the DNS, network
connectivity may cause this problem.
