I have winxp pro. Last night the system was running really
slow. I restarted the computer. Now when I try to bring it
back up, it keeps repeating the boot sequence over and
over....OS never initializes. I tried bringing it up in
safe mode and same thing happens, it just keeps doing the
boot sequence over and over......i can't get it to go to
restore screen either. Even when i put my XP CD in, it
does the same thing.

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.

Hi,

Probably you did this already. Did you set your cd-rom as first boot device
in your bios and then bring up the recovery console?

Regards, Ron AF Greve.

I did try that and it gave me some quick message and then
started into the boot sequence again....and again......and
again
