Win XP stops application

Windows XP stops the application that synchronises my Nokia phone with
Outlook.

I use the Nokia phone software for synchronising my phone with Outlook but
every time the application runs, Windows activates a dialogue which tells me
what script is trying to run and advises me that "A suspicious script has
been detected". So every time I have to select "Run entire script"

How do I stop the dialogue appearing and so allow the script to run
unhindered?

The language of the dialogue indicates that it is some program giving you
the error, not the operating system. You need to determine what program is
giving you the dialogue - Windows Defender, Norton or McAfee, ZoneAlarm,
etc. - and then look in that program's configuration options to allow the
Nokia phone software.

It sounds like it is an antivirus or antispyware program that is causing
this. What anti-malware programs are you using?

I turns out to be McAfee anti-virus v10. It doesn't have a whitelist, so
I've go to allow the script manually each time it runs.

Thanks for replies
