WIN XP SP2?

When is WIN XP SP2 going to be released? There are now
over 30 post-SP1 critical updates, plus over 30 other
updates. Surely it's time for SP2 !!!???

I'm not notifying anyone. I have posted the

question "When is WIN XP SP2 going to be released?"
because I have have contactd Microsoft for partners in
Australia and they have no idea. They suggested I put it
on a newsgroup in case anyone did have any idea. Perhaps
someone with a constructive answer will reply, not an
irrelevant negative comment.

I did not mean to offend you merely attempt to point out
that this is an XP Peer group NG and we are not associated
in any way with MS. Therefore how the blazes do you expect
us to know their thinking or internal works. For info on
XP come here for answers to MS go there. Sorry if I upset
you but I assumed you were a reasoning individual that
could understand a simple reply without extensive details.

SP2 is going to be released next year, mid-2004 maybe.
