I just bought a new board Soyo kt333 dragon plus and am
using a AMD Thunderbird 1.33Ghz with 266 FSB.

Here is the problem...sometimes when Xp starts it reports
the correct CPU info in the control panel and others
times it reports 666Mhz. However System Info provide the
correct info...Anything I can do to get Xp display the
correct CPU speed in the System Control Panel?

Hi,

Have you overlclocking the CPU or have you set it
correctly?
Try boot into BIOS and load setup default then save and
exit. Let windows load and check again.

Hope it helps.

Try going to run,type:DXDIAG
See what results the utility shows, have you updated the
BIOS from Soyo.
