No Dual Processor Window showing in XP Pro

Taskman Performance -> View History -> One Graph per CPU is grayed.
I tried adding "/numproc=2" to Boot.ini, and upon reboot the option was "NOT" grayed for a while, but not functional. then after several minutes it was grayed out again.

ASUS A7M266-D Mother Board.
1.5GB Kingston Registered ECC memory.
XP Pro SP1 with all updates installed.
XP Pro was installed with both Processors running and enabled.
2 - Athlon MP 2800+ processors
Latest ASUS bios.
BIOS POST shows 2 Athlon 2800+ installed, enabled and running
Control Panel->System->Device Manager->Processors shows 2 entries fro Athlon 2800+
Control Panel->System->Device Manager->Computer shows "ACPI Multiprocessor PC"
Sysinternals "PCinfo" reports:
Kernal Version: Microsoft Windows XP, Multiprocessor Free
Product type: Professional
Product version: 5.1
Service pack: 1
Kernel build number: 2600
Install date: 12/13/2003, 3:17:42 AM
Activation status: Activated

Any ideas...?

NEVER MIND. It was a bug in the mother board BIOS.

Work around found after much nashing of teeth.

Disabled multi-proc detection in the bios (it does not
work with bios version 1011.002/003.
