Win XP Pro Logon Failure

C

Chris

I previously had a newtork setup (with a domain) on my
notebook for a business network. I wanted to set up a
home network using my notebook and desk computers. I ran
the network wizard on the notebook (running XP Pro), after
I rebooted I have not been able to logon. I get an error
message-System can't log on- "Make sure user name and
domain are coreect, them type your password". I have no
idea what user id and password the system is looking for.
I've tried logging on in safe mode. I get the normal
logon window asking for user id and password.
Administrator doesn't work as the user id. I'm so
stuck... Helppppp

Chris: Try the following:
Via Control Panel/Users set the system to boot to the Welcome Screen.
Then shutdown/restart.
Boot normally. When the Welcome screen appears press Alt-Ctrl-Del
and then release the Del key and press Del again. Then choose
administrator (lower case) and type in the companion password.
