Win Xp Pro crash, re-install error 7

I was zapped with what I believe was an virus, which
wiped out my boot sector. I have reformated my drive,
partioned ther drive, and now when I try to re-install
windows XP Pro, I get and error code 7, or setup can't
load setupdd.sys file.
Can anyone help me fix my PC, or should I through it out
and buy a new one.
 
Install xp cd,boot to cd,install xp,new copy.XP will reformat and install auto.

Burn your pc and dont buy a new one.
