Win XP Network Sharing Does Not Work

Here's my network setup

pc1 = Win XP Pro
pc2 = Win XP Home
pc 3 = Win 98 SE
pc 4 = Win 98 SE

When I click on My Network in pc1 I can see and access all pc's in the
network. When I click on My Network in pc2 I can see only PC 2, 3, and 4. I
can't access pc1. This is the same with pc 3 and 4. Just for information I
am pc1. No one in the network can see my computer.

I have all the sharing granted and I can use printer sharing for all
computers with no problem. Is this a problem with XP Pro. I am running Zone
Alarm as a firewall and I have all the permissions configured there. I have
had three other so called Win XP Pro's working on this and they all gave up.
What are we missing?

Pro is capable of disabling "Simple File Sharing", which could impact the visibility of it on a LAN.

Go to start/run, and type "control folders", click the View Tab and check the checkbox for "Use simple file sharing"

If you prefer no SFS, rightclick any folder, and look on the "Sharing" tab for the settings you prefer. Regulate who has access to
specific folders. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/tips/september/stevens1.asp "Description of File Sharing and
