WIN XP MS_DOS Mode

I have a CD ROM Disgnostic program that says it can only be used in "MS_DOS
Mode" , not MS_DOS prompt.
How do I get my WIN XP computer into MS_DOS Mode?

You don't (short of booting from a DOS diskette). There is no DOS
in Windows XP.
