I formatted the hard rive on my desktop PC and did an XP re install I DID NOT change any hardware. Now My zip drive is the C: and my hard drive is the E: It was NEVER like this before. I was told the only solution was to disconnect the Zip drive and reinstall XP again. then connect the ZIp drive. That just seams foolish anyone know another way?

Mason,

no, that is indeed the strongly preferred way.

It is possible to change the drive letter of a running
installation (I've done it once), but there are strong reasons
to avoid this at all cost, particularly if you only just
recently installed the system.
