Hello
I have two XP Home machines that have had no problem networking untill
recently. They see each other in My Network Places, View workgroup
computers, but access is denied you may not have permission to access this
resource. I am able to map to each machine. I am not sure what has changed.
I have a firewall installed, and that is configured properly, same as it
always had been. I have recently installed SunBelt Software CounterSpy on
both machines. I suspect that this is the problem somehow. Does anyone know
of a solution to my dilema?
Thanks
Rob

Rob,

Are you actually able to access files when mapping shares? Is the mapping done
manually from Windows Explorer?

Start by posting "ipconfig /all" from both computers, and we'll diagnose the
problem.
