Win Xp Home freezes constantly

about an hour ago, i reformatted my computer and now it freezes constantly.
It usually freezes on startup. I have Norotn Anti-Virus installed and all of
the latest Windows updates.

Was it freezing before? Is that why you decided to reformat? Since you
haven't told us anything about your computer, it's impossible to give
you a specific answer. You might have bad drivers, malware running at
startup, or failing hardware. There just isn't any way to tell from
