Win XP home edition

I have windows xp home ed 2002 service pack 1 running on
a gateway pentium 4, 2.4 ghz.

when I boot up the first time and am running for appox.
20 - 30 min. for no apparent reason the system reboots
itself.

right click "my computer"
properties
advanced tab
under "startup&recovery" click settings
uncheck "automatically restart"
OK your way out

Now when your system "reboots itself" it should give you an error message
copy and paste the message here
someone should be able to help from that point on
