Windows XP Pro and Home both support dual processors.

Correction to my earlier post. XP Pro supports dual physical
processors. XP Home supports a single physical processor and, in the
case of hyper-threading, a second virtual processor.

Either version will use the 'hyperthreaded' processor chips, that look
like 2 virtual processors. Pro will also allow two chips installed -
thus giving four if they are hyperthreaded, but Home is restricted to
one CPU chip

I am running XP Home and my Device Manager shows two processors, but Task
Manager only shows one CPU Usage graph. Is this normal for XP Home, given the
fact that that is can support only one physical processor?

Task Manager>>View>>CPU History>>
One Graph per CPU

see what happens
