Win XP Cannot Display *.PCX Files

Is there any way I can get the system to recognize these files? My old
WinME system even recognizes them. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Install Irfanview then you should be good to go re. pcx viewing

PCX files are pixel image file format by Zsoft Corp. You should be able to
open
them with Paint. But if that does not do it, the below program is excellent
for
opening almost any graphics program for now and future use:
