I just used Partition Magic to resize and create some
partitions on my hard drive and it asked me to reboot.
Once it was creating the partitions an error came about.
It stopped. I rebooted my pc. Win XP dint load instead it
came up with the error:
Windows XP cannot boot because the following file is
corrupted or missing:
<<windowsroot>>system32/hal.dll (i think that is right)
Please re-install the file.
Can someone advise me on how to reinstall this file, I
have the Win XP cd but I don't know. Also I my floppy disk
drive doesnt work so I cant boot from a Win 98 boot
floppy! Also the win xp cd is not bootable!
