win xp and linksys wmp11 wireless...close to ending it all here...

thats a joke..but god this is hell..

upgrade my compaq presario ME to XP Home..signal on the adapter is 100%..all
looks fine but try and get to the internet and no chance...have spent 2 full
days without food and a wife close to leaving me...this will not work..
linksys web site does not work...no drivers dload...
microsoft are no help..

PLEASE please somebody must have gone through this too...any ideas?

Make sure that if you are using all linksys equipment that your computers
are extremely close together. For some reason when I am using a labtop with
a linksys wireless pc card in it, it has to be a lot closer to the wireless
router than two other labtops that I have with Microsoft wireless pc cards.
