What is the Jet 4.0 database engine? I can't find any Jet database on
my computer.

What is the Jet 4.0 database engine? I can't find any Jet database on
my computer.

I went to the Knowledge Base article referenced above, and it states:

The information in this article applies to:

* Microsoft Access 2000
* Microsoft Access 2002
* Microsoft Office Access 2003

I do not have Microsoft Access, any version installed, so I don't know
why Update is recommending that the database be updated. However, I do
have Microsoft Works including the database installed. Does it use the
Jet 4.0 database engine as well?
