Yes, it's called NET SEND and it's available from a command prompt. Open up
a command prompt and type NET SEND /? for details.

.

Net send (and other programs that use the windows
messenger service) are abused so much by spammers that
everybody I know has disabled the messenger service on
their computers.

Oh my god: Defeauts the spirit of windows...
mouhahahahahahahahahahahaha

Net Send is not a DOS program, it's not because you have
to use it at a command line that it is a dos programs...
basicly, if you absolutely want a windows just have to
make a very small VB program that will use the "net send
command" to send the message.

By the way, approximately every person has disable
messenger service to avoid abuse from spammer....

thanks!

BWAHAHAHA.

Disabling messenger service to protect yourself is like closing your eyes to get
away from the boogeyman. If he's there, closing your eyes won't make him go
away. You've more to worry about than spam.

If you have a LAN, get a NAT router to connect your computers. Then no more
messenger service spam, and no security hole either.

Search TuCows.Com for winpopup, lots of possibilities there.
