If I try and update 4.7 to 5.1 it breaks Acrobat reader !

Messenger 5.1 appears to install itself ok but when I next try and open the
Acrobat Reader the messenger installer runs again and I get this on screen
error....

I should add that the file 'C:\Program Files\Messenger\Msgsc.dll' does
appear to exist in that folder. Size is about 136K

Greetings,

Do you have any AntiSpyware apps running and monitoring the system like Ad-aware or Spybot?
If so, turn them off temporarily, then re-run the 5.1 installer, choose Repair and you should
be good to go.

I'll give it another go. I'm running Norton and disabling auto protect
didn't seem to be enough.
