Hello
When I installed the driver for my Creative Audigy 2ZS
card I set it up to be the default player for my sound
files. I would like to switch back to Windows Media Player
as my default sound player. I tried to go to control panel,
sounds and audio devices, sound but there is no choice
under default settings and it shows my SB Audigy as the
default player. I would appreciate suggestions on
restoring Media Player as default.
Thank You,
Don

Click your Start button, click All Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Windows Media
Player. When Windows Media Player opens click the Tools menu then click Options. When
the Options window opens click the File Types tab, then select the file types that you
want to open by default with Windows Media Player. Then click the APPLY and OK buttons,
close Windows Media Player, and then reboot your system.

In WMP 9, Tools > Options > File Types
