Win Media Player 9

Those familiar with WMP9 and XP know WMP can be minimized to the toolbar and
a very small video (or visualization) be displayed. Does W2K have the
ability to do this? If so would you please explain how to set it up?

What version of Windows Media Player is being used in this Windows
2000? If WMP 7.1, there is no mode smaller than "Compact".
 
It's version 9 (in the subject).
