Win Me can not access Win XP files and/or HP Shared printer

I have a Win XP machine that I am trying to share the
printer and other resources. Win XP can see the lap top,
and access laptop shared files. However, the Win Me
laptop can not access XP machine. I have tried a bunch of
different configurations. Windows Logon, Windows Family
Logon, file print sharing, etc.
 
Could it be that XP is using NTFS and of course Me is using FAT32?
