I have tried to install my old Primax scanner to my new computer(XP) from
installation CD (-95), but the scanner did not work. So I deleted all what I
had installed. Now when I start whit my computer, it always pops up
windows:Be sure that C:\TBridge\Flatbed.exe is in your computer or delete
the rows in Win.ini.When I look Win.ini, I will found anything like that. I
tried to install scanner to another place and deleted also those but now
when I start it pops up also window:"D:\Primax" could not fiound. Please be
sure... or delete the rows in Win.ini. What can I do? My computer works
fine, but that like popups are not so nice in startup.

If anyone can answer my stupid questions so I'm happy.

WIN.INI is a holdover from Win9x/ME for old Win9x/ME software. WinXP does NOT use WIN.INI.

Your old Priimax scanner is most likely NOT supported by WinXP. If it is a scanner that
connects through the parallel port then that is a certainty.
