Do you mean "Internet Explorer"? Windows Explorer is the operating
system graphical user interface. If you are talking about the "E" icon
for the Internet browser, go to the Display applet in Control Panel and
click the Desktop tab. There is a button there for Customize Desktop,
where you will be able to choose what system icons appear.

1. Right-click the desktop and select New | Shortcut.

2. When the Create Shortcut wizard appears, click the Browse button.

3. Locate the Windows folder, select Explorer.exe, and click OK.

4. Click Next, give the shortcut a name, and select Finish.
