win 98 help

when i go to boot up the computer it says, "the following file is either missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.sy
C:\WINDOWS\DBLBUFF.sy
C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.sy

does anyone know how to correct this problem? i have a new 98 os that i want to replace it with but i can't get it to that poin

Use a Windows 98 boot disk and go to one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.win98.gen_discussion
microsoft.public.win98.general.discussion
microsoft.public.win98.setup
