I just installed windows xp on 2 computers in my home last
week. Yesterday, when I logged into my desktop I got this
horrible win 32 generic host process error. I've been all
over the microsoft website yesterday and this morning. The
only thing I can reference has to do with an outdated
printer or scanner which does not apply to me since I have
a new HP printer/scanner. Do you have any suggestions?
This error keeps kicking me off my system and I can't stay
on for over one minute at a time. I need help??? Thanks!

hi,ive had a very similiar if not the same prob, my pc is
only a month old and today i was on the net and all of a
sudden i kept gettin a error message appear, one with the
win32 error and another saying my comp will be shut down
in one minute because of some system protocal error or
something , ive not long downloaded a security patch for
windows xp off this site, and i think this is ur
solution, all i can say is that my pc hasnt shut down for
about 15 mins yet so i think it may have worked, let me
know if you have had these problems!!!
