win 3.1 error

i get an error whenever i start ms access or word .

win 3.1 compactible fax driver
unable to start WOW . VERIFY THE ABILITY TO RUN 16 BIT WIN
 
Have you recently installed some archaic fax program from some very old
installation media? see if it appears in Add/Remove Programs.. failing that,
try a System Restore..
