Win 2K Server - Slow Internet Explorer

I'm very new to Win 2000 Server. I did a simple install. Set up my IP
network, and when I try and open any web site with Internet Explorer it
takes 20 minutes to download a single page. I've never seen anything like
this. I know I've got something not set right. Has anyone ever encountered a
problem like this? Any ideas?
 
How are you connecting to the internet? How many nics in the server? Is
DNS-server setup?
