Win 2k Not Connecting to XP

Guys: I have had this problem for some time and cannot
seem to find a solution for it. I have a Windows 2000
machine with a shared folder. I want to connect to that
shared folder from my XP Pro machine.

When I try to connect to the 2k machine, having gone both
via My Network Places and the run command, I get a
username password window and when I type in my
information I get: the local device name is already in
use.

Both machines are on the same domain and other Win 2k
machines have no connection problems at all. Anyone ever
seen anything like this?

The XP machine doesn't have the same computer name as one of the win2k computers does it?
