Win 2K keeps rebooting after SP4 Install

I just installed the Win 2K SP4. The PC restarted after
doing the download and install, it gets to the Win 2K boot
screen, shuts down and starts over again. This has been
going on for over 30 minutes. I have tried turning the PC
off for one minute before restarting the PC again. Anyone
experience this kind of problem before? ANy suggestions
would be welcome!

Your not the only one just downloaded update and have the
problem tried everthing to no avail. If I find a solution
I'll E-mail you

I had the exact same problem as you. For some reason the
problem is with the NTOSKRNL object, at least it was in my
case, that's what the BSOD said everytime before it
rebooted. It did not like my AV (Panda Anti-Virus). I
had to go to safe mode, uninstall SP4, then I was able to
boot up and log in.

Next I had to stop all AV and FW process, then installed
SP4. I had to disable the FW in my AV before the PC would
boot properly, but it's been running perfectly for a month
now. I keep checking MS about every day and they still
haven't come up with a fix for this. You two guys are
numbers 256th and 257th users I've found that have this
problem too. You'd figure MS would know about it by now.
