Win 2000/Start>Help --- No information comes up

On Win 2000, "Start > Help > Display" option does not work. I chose several
different topics and click on "Display" each time, nothing showed up in the
right column. No error message.

I have to read "renaming files" section to fix other problems on my PC.
Please give me some advice!!
