Win 2000 load error

Rob

I have been using Win 2000 for several years unitl
yesterday, when all sorts of disk errors started
appearing. All else having failed, I decided to reformat
the hard drive and reload Win 2000. However, on the first
startup disk I repeatedly get the error message "File
\$WIN_NT$.~BT\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded". The error
code is 4". Nothing else has changed on my PC and I have
no idea how to overcome the error. Any ideas by e-mail to
(e-mail address removed) thanks

Rob ...

Are you reinstalling to a new hard drive? If you were having disk errors
and are now having errors during the file copy process of setup, it sounds
like your hard drive may have a problem. Swap out your drive and test.

Hope this helps.
