upgrade windows server 2000 to server 2003 File Copy Error

I'm trying to upgrade my windows server 2000 to server 2003. Both are
standard edition. I get the following error:

File Copy Error

An error occured copying file aj5zpai3.sys to C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\aj5zpai3.sys .

You may choose to retry the copy, skip this file, or exit setup.

Retry does not work. I skipped it but then setup will not load because of
the missing file.

Anyones help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever it (aj5zpai3.sys) is it isn't a Windows file and a search on
the internet yields nothing. Start your server and do a search on your
hard disks for it and see if you can find out who or what owns it. Make
sure that you have no malware on your machine. Disable, or better yet,
uninstall and remove any hardware which may be using the file and try
the upgrade again.
