Win 2000 Reinstalls Ofc 2000 Progs Ev Time

I've just upgraded from Win 98 to Win 2000 Professional.
My software is MS Office 2000 Small Business. Now every
time I open a program in MS Office, I get a
message: "Preparing to Install" and then "Please wait
while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 Small
Business." Isn't this only supposed to happen the first
time you open these programs after installation?

Sounds like rights. Are you logged on as Admin/with Admin
rights? Or onto a domain with no Admin rights locally?
Suggest to try to logon with Admin rights then start each
of the Office apps individually once, then log off, then
after that this error should (hopefully) have gone.
