No it does not. You can show a clean install the CD of the Qualifying
product when it asks where Windows is (provided it is not an OEM Restore
one - for those you have to run the install from the installed system,
and do the format in the process, by which time the check has been made)
 
Yeah, I just found that out recently with Windows 98. Sorry if I caused
any confusion.

When you reply to a message, please make sure you do it properly, using
Reply, as a follow-up, so that it has a reference inbuilt to the
message you replay to. and is seen as a part of a thread
 
I'm sorry that the rest of the message didn't show up. However, it is
not my fault because Netscape decided not to put it there. Since I use
Netscape and not OE, I can not do what you say to do. Also, Netscape
shows my message as part of the correct thread.
