Win 2000 pro boot problem

P

Paul

When attempting to boot my windows 2000 pro machine (IBM
Thinkpad T30/ P4 512 ram), after I enter my username and
password explorer.exe generates error message: -
"The instruction at "0x10004dc3" referenced memory
at "0x00000000" the memory could not be "read""

So thats it explorer.exe cant run so no windows for me.
If I check task manager all the memory is found, I also
checked the physical mem and its seated correctly etc. I
tried a boot in safe mode too, but still the same problem,
any ideas?.

Cheers,
Paul.
