Win 2000 log in promt/password issue

Scenario: My step-son installed Win2000 on my old
computer (HP Pavilion 8240 USA) several months ago,
doesn't recall his Log on name or password. Anyone know
how to bypass this screen in any way so I can work it from
there? The system is old, I'm planning to give it to my
Grandson and I don't care if the programs installed ever
work again. I can reload Win95 if necessary (that was
the original OS).
Thanks.

If you don't want to save anything on the Hard drive, it's
easy - simply boot with a W95 floppy (can be obtained from
www.bootdisk.com), and re-install Windows 95 from the CD.
